Missouri was mentioned as his birth state by some COOK 4th cousins. His son Henry b.1844 in Richmond,Fort Bend County, Texas was my 2nd great grandfather, and his siblings, with their descendants, have been here ever since.
Cecelia Cookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12952368954821114462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587371425848165512.post-38900658583264095892014-02-06T14:52:07.996-08:002014-02-06T14:52:07.996-08:00Thank you Bernita, I'm glad you were able to f...Thank you Bernita, I'm glad you were able to follow the name game!! Still I was able to easily follow the many names, again...wow. I can't wait to see what else you dig up. I don't see Mr. Major having you in as much o a head-lock as I do him leading you by the hand. Remember my saying they feed us the "breadcrumb" to allow us to process? You've done a fabulous job CC! And like a true detective you're questioning [and documenting] EVERYTHING. That's where the answers always live -- in the crumbs we've discovered but don't quite yet make sense. Keep them close. Your answers will follow -- soon!:)Luckie Danielshttp://ourgeorgiaroots.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6587371425848165512.post-62674469648345869442014-02-02T20:57:45.199-08:002014-02-02T20:57:45.199-08:00Great research cousin . . . woo-hoo!

Let me know. If you don't, I am going to see about getting a copy of that advertisement.

I also meant to let you know that I think I spotted our 3x great-grandfather in the 1880 Census in the city of Navasota, Grimes County, Texas. I believe his first wife Amanda has died for I show him in 1880 married to a Tina Perry. Here is the link to that information - http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=1880usfedcen&h=10950763&ti=0&indiv=try&gss=pt&ssrc=pt_t54260943_p13638205770_kpidz0q3d13638205770z0q26pgz0q3d32768z0q26pgplz0q3dpid

Good work cousin. I will keep you posted on other research information that I find on him!
